BandWorks school of rock n’ roll is looking for musicians who play guitars, drums, basses, keyboards, pianos, congas, saxophones, horns, flutes, or sing. There are many ways to learn music. You can teach yourself or take a lesson, but playing in a band with other kids, teens or adults enhances both methods. Some students enter Band Works knowing only a chord or two. In no time at all they learn their way around the fret board using power chords and on to playing lead guitar. Most band workshop students take private lessons. Their guitar, drum, bass, keyboard, piano, conga, saxophone, horn, flute, or voice teachers appreciate how BandWorks helps focus students. BandWorks classes are offered during the day, after school and evening hours. BandWorks instructors are professional musicians who love to teach musicians and coach bands. Student musicians rehearse in our fully-equipped studio and perform live concerts.
Our rock n roll summer camp program offers a one-week school of rock. Students can learn new instruments, write songs, jam, and record a CD. Band coaching is also available. So come and join the fun, be part of the jams, make new friends, and rock on!
We have several locations in California's San Francisco Bay Area including Oakland (with easy access from Berkeley), and in San Rafael in Marin County. We will soon be opening locaions in Contra Costa County with easy access from Concord, Walnut Creek, Orinda, Moroaga, Dublin and Lafayette, and in San Mateo County. Band Works, BandWorks, Bandworks, bandworks, band works. They all refer to the same great program.
