Early registration for the September 2010 session is due by Monday,
August 30, 2010 to receive a $20 discount.
Session starts the week of Monday, September 13th. Note that September session bands meet once per week for two hours, for a total of eight classes.

At BandWorks we work hard to find the right band for every musician. We match musicians by a number of factors, including instrument, experience, scheduling, and musical interests. We also make sure that people who want to play in the same band get placed together. We believe this is one of the most important features of our program and one of the greatest benefits to our students. The more people who sign up for BandWorks, the more likely we will be able to find a good match for you. Please tell your friends, parent groups, schools and co-workers about BandWorks and this upcoming session. We are always interested in supporting new ideas for how to let our community know about BandWorks!
Evaluation of experience level is determined by information received on the registration form and/or phone interview. There are no auditions. Every effort is made to place each musician in a group that is musically appropriate, with other musicians who have comparable experience. *(see note below)
Please indicate any song suggestions you may have for the next session on the BandWorks Song List (attached to the registration form). We thoughtfully consider all suggestions, and make every effort to choose songs that suit the tastes and abilities of the members in each band. The more songs you suggest, the more likely it will be that you get to play the songs you want. Please feel free to propose as many songs as you like, including ones that are not on the list. Be sure to include your song suggestions with your registration form.

Refunds
There are no refunds after the second class of a session or for missed classes. You will be fully refunded if we are unable to place you in a band.
Families with two or more members participating in any classes during the same session will receive a $25 discount per person.

*In our effort to offer a very high quality experience, we balance many different factors in placing students in bands, including: scheduling, age, musical experience, instrumentation, stylistic preferences and other factors. Occasionally we will not have an appropriate fit for a musician, even if he or she registered early. The more days and times you list on your registration form as available, the more likely we will be able to find the right band for you. In the event that we are unable to place you in a band, we will refund your entire registration fee. We do our best to offer the best musical experience possible for all musicians in BandWorks, and work very hard to ensure that your experience is a positive one. If we are unable to place you in a band this session, please try again next time!
